Scratch-Off Valentines

I’ve been wanting to make some kind of scratch-off card forever, and I decided Valentine’s Day was the holiday to finally give it a try. I love the results!

There are a few ways to go when making scratch-offs. You can mix your own metallic scratch-off paint or you can use stickers. I went the sticker route… clean and easy. I designed and printed a few Valentine puns, cut them out, and applied the stickers, rounded the corners and voila… scratch-off valentines.

I put the mini valentines in 2-inch boxes filled with candy and decorated with polka-dotted hearts, red and white twine, and “be mine” flags I picked up at Michaels.

I enjoyed handing these out at work today. And, I have plenty of stickers left over so I see more scratch-offs in my future.

P.S. Here’s what I did last year for Valentine’s Day.
